My Top 5 Beauty and Wellness Podcasts in 2022
One of my favourite ways to practice self-care is through listening to a podcast. Whether I’m going for long stroll or chilling out in a bubble bath, a podcast is always a great way to unwind and relax. One of the great benefits to listening to a podcast is that we can take the time to de-stress whilst still taking on valuable information from experts in their fields. We all have our preferences, whether you’re into podcasts about business and finance, current events, or even if you’re true crime junkie, there’s something out there for everyone. But did you know that listening to podcasts can be one of the best ways to get quality information about health, beauty, lifestyle, and anti-ageing? I’ve compiled a list of my top beauty and wellness podcasts for 2022, that are definitely following me into the new year. The NIKE Trained podcast focuses on mindset, movement, nutrition, recovery, and sleep, and how important these facets are for the success of athletes, but also everyday people. ‘Trained’ is hosted by Jaclyn Byrer, who interviews athletes, psychologists, researchers, physicians, trainers, and other experts, in order to provide listeners with valuable insight into the various aspects of holistic health and wellbeing. One of my personal favourite episodes of this podcast is with podcast guest Joe Holder, who discusses his philosophy around challenging fitness rules, eating a plant-based diet, and the importance of mindset shifts. FoundMyFitness hosted by Dr. Rhonda Patrick is a podcast centered around health, wellness and all things biological ageing. Patrick is a biochemist with a PhD in medical science, and is an expert in nutrition, metabolic health, and provides academic research-based advice on these topics, particularly when it comes to anti-ageing. She provides natural initiative-based approach to anti-ageing, which is especially helpful for those of us who are wanting to reverse the clock holistically, through our lifestyles.
